When looking at the 'Process' we can do this in one of two ways. Either on a vertical 'Team by Team' basis tackling a team or teams at a time.
Or, in a horizontal manner, a 'Value Stream', where we cut across teams and follow the end to end process for a product or service. We can also join both of these up as a larger piece of work.
Often starting a pilot with a relatively small team allows confidence to grow both from the stakeholders and also the individuals within the business that are being coached by Bizimprove. It also shows some early indications of the benefits that can arise for such an approach.
After an initial scoping (to see the size of the prize or to help prioritize what teams / process to choose) the program of work would follow a Diagnose, Design, Test & Pilot before implementation. Following this a 'Sustain' period would follow leading into Continuous Improvement (CI). By which time teams are self sufficient in new ways of working
